No data protection officer has been appointed; there is no obligation to appoint one.

2. Hosting and server log data

This website is hosted by Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). When you access the site, Cloudflare automatically processes data transmitted by your browser:

  • IP address
  • Date and time of access
  • Page requested
  • Browser type and operating system

This processing serves to deliver the content and to protect the service against attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and stable operation). We do not store server logs ourselves; Cloudflare retains technical access data only as long as required for operation and security. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Cloudflare.

4. Cookies and consent

As things currently stand, this site sets no analytics or advertising cookies. A technically necessary cookie stores your language selection.

To fend off automated access, the host may set a technically necessary security cookie (Cloudflare “__cf_bm”, lifetime approx. 30 minutes). Both cookies are required for operation and do not require consent (§ 25 (2) no. 2 German TDDDG); the site therefore shows no consent banner.

5. Recipients and third-country transfers

The sole recipient of the data listed in section 2 is Cloudflare as our processor. Cloudflare may process data in the United States. This transfer is safeguarded by Cloudflare’s certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (European Commission adequacy decision, Art. 45 GDPR) and additionally by EU standard contractual clauses in the data processing agreement.

6. Your rights

  • Access (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • Rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • Erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
  • Restriction (Art. 18 GDPR)
  • Portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
  • Objection (Art. 21 GDPR)
  • Complaint to a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR)

You may lodge a complaint with any data protection supervisory authority, in particular at your place of residence or the place of the alleged infringement.
